I was hired to do a full website redesign for author A.C.E. Bauer. Since A.C.E. writes everything from picture books to adult nonfiction, the goal was to create something friendly and eye-catching without coming off as too childish. I used warm colors, fonts evocative of early print, and graphic elements from an old text ornament to create a website that has a bit of a playful writerly feel but can still be taken seriously.
The site was created using WordPress and the Elementor page building plugin, and has custom post types for blog pieces, longer writing, and book pages.
